Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com).
Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – Today, we started looking at graphs and how we can integrate graphs and input output machines. When you have an input output machine, the input is your x-value, and the output is your y-value. Conversely, if you have a graph, the coordinates will tell you the input and output, and you must solve backwards for the pattern. We developed a few patterns of our own today and tried to solve each other’s!
We will be continuing with this on Friday.
Inquiry into Coding – Today, students continued to work on their pair programming activity. This will be an entirely in-class activity that is due Friday.
For homework:
· Study for spelling test Friday
· YMCA forms
· Play day forms & money
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns by email, and I will respond as quickly as possible.
Mr. Conte
