Thursday, January 31st


I hope everyone is having a great week so far.

Please remember that reregistration packages are due February 11th. I know this seems far away, but it is coming up quickly. On February 11th, we open spots to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot! We hope to see everyone back next year!



A couple of quick reminders:
·      Tomorrow is a Day 2 – students should bring devices for speeches and summative tasks.
·      Aftercare invoices were due on January 15th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
·      Aftercare invoices for the month of January will come out tomorrow.
·      Re-registration packages are due no later than February 11th, 2019 – at this point we will open registration to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot. We hope to see you again next year!
·      Permission forms were sent home Friday for our trip to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. They are due no later than Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.

Inquiry into the Human Body – Students continued working on their summative for our current unit of inquiry (the human body). We worked this morning to make up for the missed day on Tuesday. Summative presentations will start in the afternoon.






French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).

Inquiry into Math – Today, we continued our data management and probability test.




Inquiry into the Human Body – Students started their summative presentations. We will continue them tomorrow.




For homework:
·      Study for math test
·      Practice and memorize speech
·      Jump Rope for Heart
·      Reregistration packages are due by February 11th
·      Field Trip forms
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
