I hope you are all staying warm in this deep freeze we seem to be experiencing.
Please remember that reregistration packages are due February 11th. I know this seems far away, but it is coming up quickly. On February 11th, we open spots to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot! We hope to see everyone back next year!
A couple of quick reminders:
· Tomorrow is a Day 1 – students should bring devices for speeches and summative tasks.
· Tomorrow is Casual Day!
· Bake Sale will run tomorrow during lunch.
· Aftercare invoices were due on January 15th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
· Re-registration packages are due no later than February 11th, 2019 – at this point we will open registration to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot. We hope to see you again next year!
· Permission forms were sent home Friday for our trip to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. They are due no later than Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.
Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com)
Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – Today, we started our data management and probability test. We started by surveying the grade five students and graphing the information we surveyed. We will continue with this for the remainder of the week.
Inquiry into the Human Body – Students continued working on their summative for our current unit of inquiry (the human body). Summative presentations will start tomorrow.
For homework:
· Study for math test
· Practice speech
· Reregistration packages are due by February 11th
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
