Friday, February 1st


We’ve come to the end of another week!

Please remember that reregistration packages are due February 11th. I know this seems far away, but it is coming up quickly. On February 11th, we open spots to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot! We hope to see everyone back next year!



A couple of quick reminders:
·      Monday is a Day 3.
·      Aftercare invoices are due on Feruary 15th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
·      Re-registration packages are due no later than February 11th, 2019 – at this point we will open registration to the public, and your child will not be guaranteed their spot. We hope to see you again next year!
·      Permission forms were sent home Friday for our trip to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. They are due no later than Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.
We started our day off by announcing the winners for our Risk-Taker awards this morning. Congratulations to all of the winners.

Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com)

Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).

French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).

Inquiry into Math – Today, we finished our data management and probability test.


Inquiry into the Human Body – Today, we finished our summative presentations. 



On Monday, we will be hearing speeches all day in grade five. Speeches should be prepared and memorized.

For homework:
·      Practice and memorize speech
·      Jump Rope for heart
·      Field trip form
·      Reregistration packages are due by February 11th
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
