Good afternoon everyone!
I hope everyone has had a great week. We have definitely had a busy week here in grade five.
Inquiry into Matter – After 6 weeks of studying matter, we have completed our first unit of inquiry. We did our final presentations on matter today (our science fair projects). Thank you grade fives for all of your hard work and all of your inquiry. We had some excellent presentations and demonstrations today.
Inquiry into Language – After our presentations, we read Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. We finished chapter sixteen and worked diligently on our comprehension work to finish it at school.
In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (link on the left).
Inquiry into Math – Today, we wrote our final assessment for our second math unit, Number Patterns.
