Inquiry into Language – We started our day by working on our spelling lesson for week 22. The grade five spellers were doing more work with syllables and our grade six spellers were looking at the prefixes: fore-, em-, and en-.
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – We wrote a quick pop quiz for math. This is just to show the students what they need to study for our upcoming measurement test this Friday. These quizzes have been marked and put back into their math duotangs. They have also been given a math review to work on in the event of a snow day tomorrow.
Inquiry into Language – Students worked on their literature circle roles for week 3. This is the last week of literature circles.
Inquiry into Government – We continued working on our government summative tasks today.
For homework:
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns by email, and I will respond as quickly as possible.
