Happy Valentine’s Day! 14 more school days until March break!
A reminder that tomorrow is a P.D. day and Monday is Family Day so this is a 4 day weekend!
A couple of quick reminders:
· Tuesday is a Day 6.
· Aftercare invoices are due on February 15th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
· Re-registration is now open to the public; if you have not submitted your package – please do so as soon as possible and reach out with any questions.
· Permission forms were sent home for our trip to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. They are due no later than Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.
· We are going skiing next Wednesday.
· The website for hot lunches in March is now open. Please remember we are skiing on March 7thand on a trip on March 27th, so hot lunches should not be ordered for those days.
Inquiry into Language – We wrote our spelling test for lesson 20 and then we split into our literature circle groups and had some very great discussions.
Inquiry into Government – Today, we continued our unit on government by learning about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
In the afternoon, we went to Jump Rope for Heart. We saw some great skipping today!
For homework:
· Math Review (due Tuesday)
· Shannen read ch. 15 – 17
· Government question (due Tuesday)
· Permission forms
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
