2 MORE DAYS OF PRACTICE UNTIL EXHIBITION!

In case you didn’t already know, St. Jude’s Academy is putting together our first yearbook spanning from JK to Grade 12 for the 2019-2020 academic year. This inaugural issue will be something all students and their families will treasure. The cost is $20 per full-colour, hardcover yearbook. The deadline to order is May 15. SJA Yearbook Sponsorship opportunities are available. We will accept a limited number of ads (10 pages) from businesses, groups and families in our SJA Community to help off-set this publication. Morning Announcements:

·       Announcements

·       P.E. with Mr. Orr at 3:00 p.m. today.

·       Exhibition is this week (Friday, May 8^th). Presentations will be at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 6 p.m. Each group must attend every session. 

·       Due to exhibition and rehearsals, lunch and recess times may not happen at their regular schedule times. Please let your families know.

·       School will begin slightly earlier for Grade 6s this week only à 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

·       Online learning has been extended to Friday, May 29^th, 2020.

·       Fun half-day of school 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 15^th.

In case you haven’t heard - the Grade 5 & 6 class from The Maples Academy will be watching your exhibition presentations on Friday! Please refer to the schedule below to know where to be and what document to be working on at various times of the day.

This morning, you should be in full school uniform, with your cue cards, device, slideshow, videos, and apps all ready to go. We will meet as a whole Grade 6 team on Discord at 8:30 and to review today’s schedule. We will then meet on various Zoom calls and have 2 full dress rehearsals today.

When it is your turn to present, pretend that it is the real thing. If you are part of the audience, then your job is to take notes to share when we regroup at the end of the day to reflect on how things went.

We need an audience for Sofia and Aamna’s presentation in Group 5. Mr. Conte’s Homelessness group, Ms. Jaskolka’s Homelessness group, and Ms. Haag’s Pesticides group, please join this group at the start of the session then return to your scheduled group.
