Good morning everyone!
Today, our focus will continue to be working on Sections 16 – 20 of the Exhibition Planner – the math, French, arts, and action components, and The Primary Source. Please refer to the schedule below to know where to be and what document to be working on at various times of the day.

A couple of groups have completed their surveys and we are asking for you and your parents to take some time to complete them. They will not take long:
During the exhibition process, specialist teachers (Mr. Orr, Mr. Oliver, Mme. Stella) will help facilitate learning for each of the exhibition groups during their scheduled class times. · Sessions at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 6 p.m. – you are required to be there for all.
· Resuming physical education with Mr. Orr – will start Friday.
· Homework for today – email two truths and a lie about yourself (creative & appropriate) – if you did not do so yesterday.
· Respect for each exhibition group. While I am with another group, do not intrude with a question you and your group have.
· Adding evidence to your planners daily.
· Tomorrow morning – meeting with Mr. Oliver on Zoom at 9:00 a.m.
· Assembly with all Grade 6s Friday morning at 9 on discord.
· Discussion – Has anyone been to Mr. Orr’s discord or seen his fitness Instagram? What are your favourite physical activities to do?
· Reflecting on how our learning went last week - How much progress have you made on other
components? Which components have you begun?
Which components do you still need to work on? Have you thought about your action component? How do you think this could look like using an online platform?
· Primary sources should be scheduled by this Friday, and the interview conducted by the 23rd.

· Mme. Stella will continue meeting with groups this week from. Meet with Mme. Stella to continue progress on your group’s French component – this discussion must be completed by end of day, Friday, April 17th & French component should be completed before Friday, April 24th.

Today’s Learning Goal # 2: to Complete two components by the end of this week Friday April 17th.
· Continue to make progress on other components Sections 16-20 in the exhibition planner
· Daily adding evidence to planner of work you are doing
· Ensure for each component you have filled out the learning goal and success criteria before beginning. What key concept question(s) will you be answering with each component?
· Schedule the primary source by Fri. April 17th
· Primary source interview conducted by Thursday, April 23rd
· Daily conferences with your teacher to discuss progress in each of these components:
· 1 in the morning
· 1 between 12-1:40
· 1 from 2:20-3:30
· Attend scheduled mentor meetings. This must be done by the end of day TODAY (Friday, April 17th). (Suggestions for the mentor meetings – Ask your mentor/parent to help you find someone to interview.)

Work that is not completed during class time will need to be completed as homework. Students should put more focus into reading at this time. It is an expectation that students are reading between 30 and 60 minutes per day.
