Hope everyone is having a great week. Please remember that tomorrow is our science fair, so the school will be open for parents to come and see all our science fair projects in our classes between 2:30 & 3:15.
Inquiry into Ancient Civilizations – This morning, we finished our inquiry into Ancient Egypt by discussing Ancient Egyptian artefacts, structures, and the overall timeline of the Ancient Egyptians. Summative tasks were sent home tonight, which we will be starting in class on Monday. Please review these packages and return them to me signed, so I can know that everyone has seen them.
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – Today, we built on our knowledge of investigating angles and classifying figures by constructing shapes of our own. It’s only 4 steps!
1. Draw the first line segment.
2. Measure your angle and draw your second line segment.
3. Draw your third line segment.
4. Draw the fourth line segment by attaching the unattached points.
We worked on our homework today in class after this.
Inquiry into Matter – At the end of the day, we worked on reviewing our science fair presentations, and putting finishing touches on our boards.
