Friday, November 23rd

I hope you’ve all had a great week, and will have an even more relaxing weekend. Today, I had the opportunity to photograph our last Science Fair winner, who was not in our photograph yesterday. Once again, congratulations to everyone. You all worked incredibly hard on your projects.

Inquiry into Math – We wrote our final unit test for our Geometry Unit in math this morning.

Inquiry into Ancient Civilizations – We continued to work on our summative for our Ancient Civilizations unit.

French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).

After French, we went to go and see the grade threes showcase their summative tasks on Forces. They did a fantastic job. Thank you to Ms. Chiappetta and Ms. Foti for sharing with us.

Inquiry into Language – We wrote our spelling test for spelling lesson 11. We also discussed how we will be dressing for the Christmas concert. I will email sometime next week to share with everyone what we will be doing. The Christmas concert is on December 18th.

Inquiry into Ancient Civilizations - We continued to work on our summative for our Ancient Civilizations unit. Some students continued their writing portion, while others focussed on the process of beginning to build their artefact.

I am going to try to email everyone either this weekend or throughout the week to talk about upcoming report cards and summative tasks.

For homework:
·      Complete spelling lesson 12 (due Monday)
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
