I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend despite this weather not wanting to make relaxing easy.

Inquiry into Explorers – We started the day by taking up the homework on Vikings yesterday. After this, we started looking at the advancements in technology that impacted and were impacted by exploration. Students will finish their research tonight.
French – After this, the students had French with Mme. Stella, which you can read about on her blog (https://stjudesfrench-stella.blogspot.com).
Gym – After recess and lunch, the students had gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – We took up yesterday’s homework and took a closer look at how graphs can be used to mislead people.
We did an example as a class. In the first graph, it looks as though 7 times as many people like cheese pizza rather than vegetarian, when in reality, it is closer to twice as many.
Students will complete their unit review tonight for their homework.
Homework:
To accommodate the workload, our speech research due date has been moved to Monday.
We do our best to complete work in class. In the event this is not possible, it will go home for homework.
As always, please feel free to email me with any questions.
Mr. Conte
