Thursday, November 28th

I hope you’re all having a great week so far.

A quick note about book fair:

And one more thing…

A few quick reminders:
·      Tomorrow is a Day 5.
·      Aftercare invoices for the month of October have come out and were due Friday, November 15th, 2019. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
·      Any unpaid invoices (lunch or aftercare) by Friday will result in report cards being withheld.
·      Pick-a-Time forms have been sent home with instructions on how to sign up for a time to meet during student-led conferences taking place next Thursday, December 5th. The site went live today at 10:00 a.m.

Inquiry into Math – We started the day by writing our math quiz. We will pick up by learning about decimals tomorrow.

French – After this, we had French with Mme. Stella, which you can read about on her blog (https://stjudesfrench-stella.blogspot.com).

At lunch, I came into my class to find that my students had planned a surprise party! I was so surprised! Thank you everyone so much; it means a lot to me.

After lunch, we rehearsed for the Christmas Concert. We’re so excited to share our hard work with you!

Inquiry into Flight – After this, we went outside and did our air show! Congratulations to Adn and Joshua on their plane construction – they won first place!

For the remainder of the afternoon, we worked on completing the last page of the report card, completing the DRA reading survey for term two, and completing our term two OWA pre-assessment. We will continue with more work tomorrow.

Students should be listening to our songs and rehearsing for Christmas Concert nightly. Here are the links for the song for our Christmas Concert song:

Homework:
·      No homework today
We do our best to complete work in class. In the event this is not possible, it will go home for homework.

As always, please feel free to email me with any questions.
