With summer just around the corner, what better way for your children to spend the summer than here at SJA?! SJA Summer camp registrations were sent home earlier this year. We are offering 7 weeks of summer fun with a minimum of 3 excursions per week. There are lunch and snack options and before and after care are available. Register before it is too late! A couple of quick reminders:
· Tomorrow is a Day 1.
· Aftercare invoices are due. They were due Friday, June 14th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
· Aftercare invoices from May and before that are unpaid by June 14thwill result in the withholding of term three report cards.
· Library books are overdue. Please ensure that if your child has any books at home that are from St. Jude’s that they are promptly returned.
Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – We used this transition time to review concepts for the math test this afternoon.
Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
Inquiry into Math – Today, we wrote our final math test of the year!
Inquiry into Coding – We worked on our summative tasks today.
For homework:
· Coding summative outline (by tomorrow)
· French summer sentences (due tomorrow)
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
