I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. There are only 5 more school days – I honestly can’t believe it!
With summer just around the corner, what better way for your children to spend the summer than here at SJA?! SJA Summer camp registrations were sent home earlier this year. We are offering 7 weeks of summer fun with a minimum of 3 excursions per week. There are lunch and snack options and before and after care are available. Register before it is too late! Ms. Hughes would be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached at bsmith@stjudesacademy.com
The Grade Fives will be having a showcase for their coding games – you are all welcome to attend.
A couple of quick reminders:
· Monday is a Day 5.
· Aftercare invoices are due. They are due Friday, June 14th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
· Aftercare invoices from May and before that are unpaid by June 14thwill result in the withholding of term three report cards; please double check if you have received an email from me for this.

Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com).
After this, we worked on the last page of our term three report cards. We talked about: one thing we learned this term, one thing we need to improve on, one thing we worked hardest on this term, one thing we really enjoyed this term, and one thing we’ll miss most about grade five.
Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).
French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).
After French, we went to view the Grade Four art exhibit. We saw some amazing art pieces and heard fantastic poetry.
Inquiry into Coding – We continued to work on our summative tasks for coding. These are due on Monday with no exceptions as we have our final exhibit on Monday.
For homework:
· Coding summative (due Monday – no exceptions)
All homework for the day is placed here, but time may have been given in class to complete this work.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns by email, and I will respond as quickly as possible.
Mr. Conte
