Friday, June 14th - The Last Day

Good afternoon everyone!

I hope everyone has had an amazing week! I can’t believe it’s here. We had our last day of school today!

With summer just around the corner, what better way for your children to spend the summer than here at SJA?! SJA Summer camp registrations were sent home earlier this year. We are offering 7 weeks of summer fun with a minimum of 3 excursions per week. There are lunch and snack options and before and after care are available. Register before it is too late! Ms. Hughes would be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached at bsmith@stjudesacademy.com

A couple of quick reminders:

·      Aftercare invoices for the month of June will release on Monday, June 17^th. If you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com

Today was all about our promotion ceremony! It was such an amazing time; thank you to everyone who came out to see it! Once pictures have been made available to me, I will email them to all of you.

Lastly, term three report cards went home today. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

I wish you all a safe, happy, and enjoyable summer. This year has been such a fantastic experience. Thank you all, students and parents, for making me feel so welcome at St. Jude’s.

A couple of quick reminders:

·      Tomorrow is the promotion ceremony! Students should dress nicely for their promotions. I will be sending an email this evening with the details for tomorrow.

·      Aftercare invoices are due. They are due Friday, June 14^th; if you are unsure if you have any owing amount, please email Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com

·      Aftercare invoices from May and before that are unpaid by June 14^thwill result in the withholding of term three report cards; please double check if you have received an email from me for this.

·      Library books are overdue. Please ensure that if your child has any books at home that are from St. Jude’s that they are promptly returned.

Gym – The students started the day doing gym with Mr. Orr, which you can read about on his blog (http://tysonorr.blogspot.com).

Music – Then, we had music with Mr. Oliver, which you can read about on his blog (https://mrolivermusicclass.blogspot.com).

French – In the afternoon, we had French with Mme. Rawan, which you can read about on her blog (https://mmerawansja.blogspot.com).

After French, we had our end of the year class party. We ate some snacks, played with slime, and did our fun awards.

At the end of the day, we had our House Cup Ceremony! Congratulations to Zeta for winning the house cup! I hope this is the beginning of a yearly tradition!
